Lesson Program Overview:

The lesson program at Kings Bridge Farm is designed to assist equestrians of all abilities in reaching their riding  and competition goals.  We are an English hunter and jumper barn, and offer private and group lessons that address the needs of beginners through advanced-level riders.  Our goals are to create a fun and safe environment, while recognizing the abilities in each of our riders - and helping them to realize their full potential.

Lesson Program Policies:

We require that all riders begin their experience at Kings Bridge with at least one private evaluation lesson.  This allows our staff to accurately assess the rider's level.  After one or more private lessons, the rider will be placed into a group lesson with other riders of similar experience.

Lesson Fees:

Private Lessons:
These lessons are available by appointment, and are scheduled directly with the instructor.  Payment is due at each lesson.  Fee:  $50-$65 per lesson.

Group lessons:
These lessons are available weekday evenings, and Saturday mornings.  Please call for lesson schedule and fee information.

Group lesson make-up policy:  If you must miss a lesson, please call the office and let us know prior to your lesson.  Your make-up lesson may then be subsequently scheduled with your trainer.  Make-up lessons must be taken within thirty days of your absence, and only one make-up lesson per month is permissable.

Bad weather policy:  If the weather prevents riding, your trainer will hold a barn lesson.  These lessons address many aspects of horse care, and are imperative to creating a well-rounded equestrian.

Show Policy:

Kings Bridge Farm is a training and show barn.  We host five shows annually, with classes suitable for all of our riders.  We request that each of our equestrians compete in at least one show each semester.

NOTE:  UNDER TEXAS LAW (CHAPTER 87, CIVIL PRACTICES AND REMEDIES CODE), AN EQUINE PROFESSIONAL IS NOT LIABLE FOR AN INJURY TO OR THE DEATH OF A PARTICIPANT IN EQUINE ACTIVITIES RESULTING FROM THE INHERENT RISKS OF EQUINE ACTIVITIES.
